An Afternoon At the Lincoln Zoo

On Labor Day, we went to the Lincoln Children's Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa McMahon (affectionately knows as the "Grandpa who drives the train"). It was Grandpa's day to drive the zoo train so we thought it was time for Alexander to have his first train ride. What a fun treat to have Grandpa drive! The weather was beautiful and we all had a great time.

Adam rode a pony (below) while Mommy and Alex looked on. Alex seemed very interested!

Tim and Alexander take a break on the spider web. Adam is probably hanging upside down on it somewhere, out of camera view.

My favorite photo. Grandpa and his boys. We really cherish our train rides with Grandpa. Adam feels like a rock star - how many 5 year olds have a Grandpa who drives a train?!

Thanks for all the comments and feedback. Please keep it coming so we know you are there. I'll just keep sending these tidbits out into the blogosphere under the assumption that someone is interested!
