The Korean Bath

When in Korea, we must do as the Koreans do - right? It was suggested to us by the social worker at Holt that we should try the excellent spa/bathing facilities at our hotel. So yesterday Tim and I ventured to the 3rd floor, paid 5,500 won each (about $5) and checked it out. The men and women have separate facilities (obviously) so we each had some nice quiet time to ourselves. There were three small pools of water - a medium hot whirlpool, a very hot pool, and a cold pool. I used each of these, in order, as well as the sauna and it was heaven. There are shower facilites to use at the end, so we both left relaxed and refreshed. I had to drag Tim into it, but when we left he was already talking about doing it again! Such a treat. No photos, sorry!

We had a busy day yesterday filled with shopping and eating and wandering. We'll try to get the photos loaded today and update you but it may not happen until tonight. We meet Alex again this morning at 10am. Right now I am going to try to go back to sleep. Its 3:30am and my insomnia is kicking in again!
